William Shakespeare was a famous English playwright, poet, dramatist and actor. He is best known for his dramatic plays that have stood the test of time and continue to be famous throughout the English-speaking world and beyond. Famous William Shakespeare plays include “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “The Comedy of Errors”, “Twelfth Night”, “Macbeth”, “Hamlet”, and “The Tempest”.

Mini biography: Born William Shakespeare on the 26th of April, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. His mother was Mary Arden and his father John Shakespeare was an alderman and glove-maker. Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway in 1582 and they had three children: Susanna, Hamnet and Judith. The playwright died on the 23rd of April, 1616 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England at the age of 52. William Shakespeare is buried at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom of Great Britain.
