His mother was Clara Virginia Clarke and his father George Stephen Morrison was a United States Navy admiral. The singer died on the 3rd of July, 1971 in Paris, France at the age of 27. Jim Morrison is buried at the Père Lachaise Cemetery, Paris, France.
