+ People think they will wake up one day and I'll
be gone. But I'm never going away.
+ The worst thing about being famous? I think
it's what everybody says.. the lack of privacy
and the idea that you're not really allowed to
make mistakes and everything that you do is viewed
under a microscope.
+ Before you're famous, you don't know what you're
getting yourself into and you don't know until
you're in the middle of it what you have sort
of asked for.
+ I think of myself as a performance artist. I
hate being called a pop star. I hate that.
+ Poor is the man whose pleasures depend on the
permission of another.
+ I wouldn't say studying Kabbalah for eight years
goes under the category or falls under the category
of being a fad or a trend. Now there might be
people who are interested in it because they think
it's trendy, but I can assure you that studying
Kabbalah is actually a very challenging thing
to do. It requires a lot of work, a lot of reading,
a lot of time, a lot of commitment and a lot of
discipline.
+ To a certain extent the last few albums have
been quite personal. I think I've just got better
at expressing myself and being articulate about
my feelings.
